why you close bini's babe ? why you just didn't change the name of the thread ?

sorry debz, i just now saw this msg.

since a new thread had already been started just renaming it would have made two threads and since i'm not really a mod for this section i wasn't able to merge them.

perhaps also i let my own feelings get in the way: 1) i was very fond of the title which was perhaps the best thing about the thread. 2) the EdF needs to make a clean break with the BB years, and i do too. closing the thread is symbolic of that.

I don't think the creek has been the epicenter of anything, other than drunken bi-county parties (the sheriffs of both counties are flummoxed because they can't figure out who gets to arrest you).

The danger from gunshots is greatly overblown. The major threat to our community comes from overprivileged billionaires who need to plunder and pillage so that they can pay their increased taxes. .

LOL. No, that's Diane Lane. I'm currently trying to watch every. single. movie. she's been in before the end of the year. There's 51 so far, and I'm about 30 movies into it. :o

small backpacks are allowed after cursory inspection, but no alcohol and no glass or cans. plastic bottles will have their caps removed, the trick is to have a spare top secreted somewhere they won't notice so you don't end up spilling your juice or water everywhere.

those are pretty good seats, i'll be watching for you!

I got tickets for Row 1, Seats 5/6 on the midfield line.

For only 80 Euros, seemed like a steal. So Im assuming its ok to just hang/tie the banner on the railing? Also, are backpacks allowed inside the Stadium?

let me know what you put on the banner, i'll watch for it on TV!

a hamp is a fancy name for a flagpole. you could poke someone's eye out with that!

      UnionFreak1
What do you mean by hamp and staff? And I was also planning on just using fabrics and paint.

banners are OK as long as they're not obscene, racist, political or religious. and any hamp or staff must be flexible and light enough that it couldn't be used as a weapon. have fun, i know i'm looking forward to the game!

Well its been a year and a half since I last talked to you. Since its a pain in the ass exploring the Stade de France and FFF sites when you don't know France, I figured I could ask you. Do you know if banners are allowed inside the Stade de France. Im going back to Paris, possibly Lyon or London, for the USMNT friendly, and was looking to see if I could hang a banner Thanks.

Thanks for the rep! Yes, I do tend to be a rather sporadic poster, but there are a few topics that are really of interest to me :)

Thanks for the rep. I wonder if folks would more readily accept the "transfer fees are the future" argument if it were in American lingo -- ie Trade. WPS clubs already exchange items of perceived value (players/draft picks) for other players.

Oh, and we have a separate thread for the topic now.

yeah I left a comment on the thread. 17, and I hope my host family/18 year old son lives near by.

the best place to go would likely be the wallace: http://www.wallacebarlyon.com/sports.html . my son's going there for USA v. Ghana tonight with a few American friends from school, he'll clue me in on the atmosphere. i've seen the place rocking for rugby and have been there for Town matches; for screens it's probably the best Lyon would have to offer... the downside is that for drinks it's pretty poor. http://www.cityvox.fr/bars-et-boites_lyon/st-james_22928/Profil-Lieu is a much better place to drink but it's smaller and less well equipped for viewing.

Hey. I was told you would know of any US Soccer fans viewing parties in Lyon, France. I will be there July 1-14. I am a member of THE American Outlaws, so I am truly passionate. So do you know anywhere. I started a thread under the USA Men: Fans and Travel section with a video taken from France with a bar full of US Supporters. So could you help me out?

Ha, I suppose you're right. I guess back then, I was an occasionally visitor/poster on BS, so my memories are shady. Now that I think about it, just imagining if Henry had scored like that against Italy...!

I think I myself would have to retire from football.

      hey man,

can you do me a favor and change the title of this thread to "@ Le Mans" instead of its current one "@ Grenoble"? I looked at the wrong game when I was on l'OM's site. :D

      merci beaucoup in advance! :)

well, i wasn't exactly slagging off england as a country, as a matter of fact i'm off there on holiday tomorrow.

i admit to comments about england as a football team that may be considered unkind... but never on an england or even "neutral" board.

i still wouldn't go so far as to say i was "slagging off" the three lions. didn't you find it odd that british punters were considering england as favorites, with odds to win the euro that were better than their chances of qualifying?

or perhaps you think the english youth system is a model that puts the rest of us to shame? i don't see why i wouldn't be permitted the same kind of comments most English fans voice.

I remember you, you were slagging of England after the France game, maybe Karma played in role in Euro2008, and the resigning of Raymond D.
