Oh, *g* is one of these internet terms and just means something like "giggle". Works in German as well. Probably a smilie substitute or something. I try not to use this stuff too much, though.

Jens definitely never was afraid of conflicts or challenges, that's for sure. ;)

I think Klinsmann will make it, even if Bayern does not win anything this season. And Uli is too proud to admit he made mistakes with his choice of coach or goalie anyway so Klinsmann will get the time he might need to actually get something done. It took him two years with the national team to really get going after all.

Yeah, BVB is doing well so far. After last season this is a step forward, definitely.

I study conservation of paintings, hehe.

As for Adler, he will be fine. The problem is that the media hype him up like he was worldclass and already in the league of Buffon, Casillas and vdS and I hope he deals with it well. He made a couple of mistakes against Russia and other goalies, Lehmann, even Enke, would have gotten stick for this game but they knew right from the start how there would judge him and ignored the flaws. But it's interesting to see him much the media controlls the opinion of the people. For example:

      Adler causes a corner unnecessarily:

      Pundit:
      -Yay! Adler plays it save!
      - Lehmann insecure! That was not necessary.

Adler gets "nutmeged" on the goal against.
      Pundid:
      - Bad defending, nothing Adler could have done!
      - Lehmann didn't look good there. A worldclass keeper should save a goal like this.

Adler makes a mistake, jumps past the ball, the goal is empty and the Russian player luckily hits the post. Adler makes a nice save seconds later.
      Pundit:
      - They were so lucky there! And fantastic save by Adler! [add more superlative praise]
      - Lehmann with a blunder! He was so lucky that it hit the post. Solid is something else. [ignores the save and goes on about the blunder]

If you get my point. But believe me, I am soooo happy Adler is in goal and not Wiese, that muppet.

      haha what is *g* ?

that's jens isn't it...doesn't give a crap (it's a good thing). He moves from schalke to dortmund and doesn't care.

klinsmann will stay coach until he starts to lose his bright demeanour and sense of humour.

BVB had a very tough start to the season (leverkusen, schalke, bayern, vfb) and came through well with quite a bit of luck...but I'm happy with it.

What do you do, between koeln and bonn?

there is a big deal going on here...wall street is falling and that affects NY state economy hugely so the college amongst other organisations has been asked to save money by cutting down on power usage by 25%!

Did you not realise england has already thrashed their rival for this foreign coach?

What team do you support again? I forgot? Was it *gasp* Schalke??

lehmann = the bank hahah, you fan! :p I have not much idea of things here though...I just got here 4 weeks ago.

I just realised something about england - they have a big thrashing of a rival just after a foreign coach takes over. The game in berlin should be great. Hopefull mesut oezil will be playing with marko marin. Did you see bremen destroy bayern at the AA?? Where do you live in germany?
