2012 has sucked so far. Job, health and time issues have been pulling from my "free" time. Really been busy lately. Hate it. Rather have 2011 back as much as that years sucked. :D

Thinking of going tomorrow for the 4th day of the 3rd test between India and West Indies ( its in Bombay). Might get to see Sachin's 100th century.

      That's some milestone.

Had a 2 hour stop over at Auckland. My sole foray thus far in either Australia or NZ.
      Bali-> Auckland->Tahiti.
And a cruise that started and ended at Tahiti ( included a few other Islands in the French Polynesia)

You didn't catch the game yesterday?

Well living there is expensive as hell too, another reason not to stay there too long. And then for a German every place in Asia is crowded. Also stayed in some other countries there btw, like Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines. Have really seen enough of that now...^^

My wife is a Chinese-Filipina with also some Indian roots (great-grandmother), so once in a while we will go there for vacations though.

No it was me. Am back in Germany though, because I want my daughter to grow up here and not in crowded Asia....

Well it wasn´t totally drama free then!^^
Still compared to most others you stayed really cool. Personally I still don´t get most of the trouble. Probably because I am free of pain free, because of all my arguments I have with Italians on this board!^^

Oh and I also used to post in the Turkish forum at "Transfermarkt.de" btw. It´s a German side, but with a Turk subforum, just posting there with a German name was seen as a provocation by them! Was reminded a bit of that today. lol

Barcelona seems to have an unending supply of talent at the moment. You hit the nail on the head with what Loew's problem is. He may have brought a big evolution in the game to Germany, but he hasn't taken that final step. He still thinks too much in the vein of starting positions instead of player combinations. What we need is to see Oezil, Goetze, Schurrle, Mueller, and Kroos together on the field in offensive positions. It really shouldn't matter where they are on the team sheet, because the goal should be to create a totally flexible interchangeable attack. Maybe he will have revelation after the group stages like he did in 2008...

I think in the long term (AKA Brazil 2014 and beyond) the battle for spots in the midfield triangle will be between Schweinsteiger, Oezil, Goetze, Kroos, Gundogan, and the Bender brothers. Its hard to believe that all of this talent is at such a young age.

The future is so bright if all of these players continue to develop. We will match Spain's level at some point in this decade.

I hope it isn't his plan B. Brazil, while in awful form, scythed through that midfield with ease. The 4-1-4-1 can't work if Schweinsteiger is the lone defensive midfield player. Especially when paired with Kroos and Oezil, because the two of them provide almost nothing in terms of pressing or tracking back. Ideally the midfield should be a triangle like this:

      ----Oezil-----Scweini----
      --------Bender----------

Bender provides much better defensive skills than either Schweini or Kroos, and is a much better offensive player than Khedira.

@Squid: Well I don´t follow all discussions myself and when just reading something online it´s not always totally clear how certain things are meant. So just wanted to make clear that I have no problem with you directly!^^

But still I hardly agree to anything you wrote about Bayern. Just don´t take it as a personal attack when that´s the case!:)

P.S.: Ja, ja... I know that should also be the case for me when you attack Bayern...;)
P.P.S.: Forums where everyone has the same opinion are boring. So hope you will keep on posting. Just don´t expect me to agree to you like the people in older times...

You can tell that Barca is not quite ready/fit yet. But they will get there. Some players just got there coming back from vacation after CA.

I have watched Gotze. In bits and pieces. He is nowhere at Ozil's level.
Let us end this discussion here.

I didn't understand your argument anyways. And you can criticize Tendulkar as much as you wish. I'm not a cricket fan at all.
