I have to believe he is. He's the liability with the ball at his feet. Steffen was probably targeted specifically because he has proven himself in a system that demands the keeper be good with his feet. Grimshaw is sort of a non-entity.
Is it just me, or is Steffen still meh with his feet? He’s good for MLS, but thats not the highest bar. If you look at the elite GKs in Europe, and even the second tier, they are all better than Steffen.
