The Bayern fans were saying that Richards wasn't good last season. I think he's competing for first youth CB into the first team with Stanisic, Danuliuc and Mihaljevic while Mai is considered a first team player.
Especially given that it was at its heyday in Yugoslav league in that period, so combine the best teams in Kosovo, Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, Macedonia, Slovenia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. That would be a strong second tier league in today's game.

Dest played 28 minutes for Ajax today in the UCL Playoff Round. Robinson played 66 minutes for Wigan.
Very possible, but he looked up to par during the u20 wc. Very low chance to even become a regular anyway.
I'm not sure if we mentioned it, but Richards played at RB in that Bayern II game. I I think the progression for Richards is fairly straightforward. Be a standout with Bayern II this season, and go on loan to a good BUnd2 club next year (or even in the winter if interest). And then his ceiling just comes down to performance. Same as Miazga, EPB, etc.
Only watched his highlights, but he was on the right side. The attacking formation was unbalanced, like 3G's USMNT formation, but with the RB staying home and being a RCB in a back 3. Had some very nice disguised and line splitting passes.
I saw the highlights, but chose not to post them here because I don't think playing RB suits his game in any way.
Congrats to '99 Christian Cappis, named to the league TOTW by Danish media. Dark-horse versatile midfield option who wouldn't be out of place on the Olympic qualifying squad.— ChuckMe92 Soccer (@ChuckMe92Soccer) August 20, 2019
From my limited viewings, I like Christian Cappis as a dark-horse candidate to impact the USMNT senior team at some point. Not sure he'll achieve it, but I think his ultimate ceiling is quite a bit higher than his YNT reputation. A few thoughts: - While not elite, seems to be above average in a lot of areas, including size (6'1" 154), mobility and technical ability; - Impactful in his brief u20 appearances and now makes his first TOTW in Denmark; - Has the ability to play the 6 or 8, with the former being a bit of a question mark in the pool. As a quick aside, I find it incredibly promising that our second- and third-tier prospects like Cappis are achieving such early success in their careers relative to our historical standards. Bodes well!
I think he jumps that level. If he doesn't go on loan in the winter, I think he's looking at a Bundesliga loan. Bayern doesn't loan out a whole lot of players, but here's the ones they do: Marco Friedl, 18/19, Bremen Douglas Costa, 17/18, Juve Serge Gnabry, 17/18, Hoffenheim Renato Sanches, 17/18, Swansea Marco Friedl, 17/18, Bremen Medhi Benatia, 16/17, Juve Holger Badstuber, 16/17, Schalke Gianluca Gaudino, 16/17, St Gallen It doesn't really seem like they like loaning players to the 2. Bundesliga. Even Julian Green went to a Bundesliga Hamburg side. I suspect Richards will have plenty of offers to go there, as well.
Pretty far below the radar, I guess, though I figure a lot of guys might be pretty happy to have a career like, say, Charlie Kazlauskas has had. Go get 'em, kid. https://www.bigsoccer.com/threads/chase-eagan-in-the-netherlands.2105901/
Brings me back to how spectacular a unified Yugoslavian team might have been in major tournaments circa 2002-Present: You've got: Croatia Serbia Slovenia Bosnia and Herzogovina All qualifying for World Cups You've also got Montenegro coming close to a Euro if memory serves. Some of those Croatian and Serbian teams were damn good too, while the Slovenian and Bosnian sides weren't great, they weren't bad either and had some legit players. A unified Yugoslavia would have been hard to stop short of the quarters or even perhaps the semi's to me circa any major tournament between '06 and '18.
As usual at Hobro, two Americans start, two on the bench (Deedson belongs in the other thread). Sådan stiller vi op i aftenens kamp mod @Odense_Boldklub. Der er kampstart kl. 19.00#HobroIK #sldk #HOBOB pic.twitter.com/uMBOlpMDpO— Hobro IK (@hikfodbold) August 23, 2019
Nothing we shouldn't already know, but these are good reminders on how we follow YA prospects: It’s the start of a new Euro season, and as is happily a recent trend, there are a lot of American prospects to follow at home and abroad. So, I’ll do a little thread about what I’ve learned over the years about reading tea leaves on prospects abroad. 1/— Jamie Hill (@_jameshill) August 23, 2019
S. Shashoua moves to the Spanish second division. He's provisionally cap-tied to England, but he hasn't gotten any recent caps for English YNT's. @Sam_shash (🏴) es el 10º fichaje del #CDTenerife 2019-20. Llega del #TottenhamHotspur (🏴). He might be the one we should put efforts into getting. If he is playing on Tenerife he immediately becomes a good candidate for U-23 team.
Pulisic isn't off to a bad start. In all competitions, he has 0G, 2A in 261 minutes. Thats exactly what his per minute stats were last season, which was a good season. He also had a secondary assist on the first goal today playing the ball wide to a fullback who sent a cross into the box that was converted. 1165230569694912513 is not a valid tweet id Robinson played 90 minutes and Carter-Vickers played 73 minutes in the Championship today. McKennie played 90 in a 3-0 loss to Bayern. I thought he played well.
