Assuming everyone is healthy, I also like the 3-4-3 against ze germans but i would add some bite with Molina and have Edson behind Vela to help with defensive duties. This team has enough size and defensive mindset to withstand you hope and you also hope to counter with Gallardo getting deep and wide and finding Vela and Chucky in space. Jimenez will have to run his ass off to create space for Vela and Chucky so maybe Cheech would be better in that role. -----------------Ochoa------------- ---Salcedo---Araujo---Moreno--- Edson-Herrera-Molina-Gallardo -----Vela----Jimenez---Lozano--- Offensive subs if you are losing would be Aquino and Tecatito for Gallardo and Edson.
No way Gio should have been on this list...it's embarrassing that a player in his current form is called. Vela's still showing flashes and Jona is debatable, but Gio? Still don't understand his inclusion.

I don’t feel Vela has the work ethic to track back and defend. I’ve seen Corona improve that aspect of his game in Porto. Moreno for sure is a lock at CB. Who will be the other CB if he goes with 4 in the back? Worst thing Osorio could do is leave Reyes on the bench, start Salcedo at RB and Ayala alongside Moreno. I can actually envision Osorio doing this.
It would not surprise me if Moreno starts on the left, in a back 4 vs germany. Salcedo,Reyes, marquez/Ayala, Moreno This role to stop Muller. Layun and gallardo, doubt they start against germany unless its a back 3/5.
Salcedo must start as a CB... He's the obvious alternative in Araujo's absence, not to mention he's faced most of Gemany's players...

Jimenez and Vela can switch duties when needed but since Jimenez has much better work rate i start him on the right and leave Vela as the sole guy in the 11 with a more free role. If Guardado can't play I use Molina for his size, aggresion and engine.
