we all know secretly that Loew will be sacked sooner or latter. keep in mind that the team that finshes third in the world cup has always failed to qualify to the next european championship.

then, who in the list would you preffer to be the German coach

Number one, I don't agree that Low is going anywhere anytime soon. I think he'll keep the train rolling.

BTW, "Cocaine Addict's" name is Christoph Daum. I would have voted for Schaaf, because I think he's the best "next man" for the job, but Schaaf still has work to do at Werder.

Now let's go through your list:

Loew: How can Löw replace Löw?

Magath: Has not impressed me with Bayern at all.

Hitzfeld: His time came and went. Would not be a good fit with this young team either.

Sammer: Hells no. A disaster in the waiting.

Rehhagel: No thanks. (Though it is a myth that he's only known for playing a defensive style)

Daum: I would really be interested in Daum being involved. Unfortunately, a certain white powder will prevent that.

Matthaeus: He'd resign three months into the gig based on his track record. Someone on the team would most likely punch his lights out before then though.

    Effenberg: No.

Thomas Schaaf: Yes. He's shown himself to be the best coach in the BuLi, and advocates a very attractive style of play.

    Oliver Kahn: No.

    Mario Basler: No.

    Oliver Bierhoff No.

    Effenberg, Kahn, Basler?

    No Doll, Rangnick, Eilts?

Anyways, this is silly of course. Loew will be there for a while.

    Wondered about that one myself......

Agree. A monkey could win with that team. Only one other guy on this list could f#ck it up.

Totally agree! I used to respect this man like no other. Now I think he's a coward. Refused the job when Germany needed him the most......

Agree again! He's the "other guy on this list" I refer to in the Magath response.

Another whose time is well past.

He'll eventually be forgiven. However, I think he has to come back to the Bundesliga first. But why should he? He's winning up a storm and making mad money in Turkey.

No way. Mattheaus is another Sammer.

And I don't think he has any interest in it either. I see him as a future president or vice president of Borussia Moenchengladbach.

As I said in my last response, I think he would be the best guy for the job, but he still has work to do at Werder.

Another who has no interest. He's going to be Hoeness' successor at Bayern.

They would rather have ME as a coach first....

I wouldn't be so quick to write him off. This is a guy I think is smart enough to do whatever he wants.

Doll - Still has work to do at HSV. Won't leave there for awhile.

Rangnick - Is one of those coaches whose act wears thin on the players after awhile. It's happened to him everywhere except Ulm.

    Eilts - Another great candidate.

This is how I feel too. I think they would have to flounder in Euro 2008 qualifying or Euro 2008 itself for Loew not to take this team into qualifying for the next World Cup.

For some reason I think that this is a great quote.

And now I'm going to vote for Löw... :D

I can't see there is any yet. The list involved candidates who are so good at their present jobs or not qualified to do so. It is Loew all the way!

Well if you were looking for a Klinsmann Jr., sorta speak, Klopp is sorta like him (lack of coaching the "big time (if you will)", charismatic, young).

ya Jurgen Klopp is a great coach, has shown it with Mainz. I herd that he dosen't have a proper licence recognized by FIFA. Is this true?
And, ya, Daum is also a favorite.

It's hard for me not to say Loew, after what he and Klinsi did on the sidelines every day, im pretty sure he might be able to out-hop klinsi.
Klopp will be the manager one day, maybe for SA. Although i hope loew succeeds.

I thought the whole point was to choose a "successor". Had I known we could have actually voted for Loew to succeed, that's how I would have voted!
