You're highly unlikely to get taken on at 20. By all means, give it a go, but people who apply for trials, rather than being scouted rarely even get a response. Your best bet is to join a local side around the local area and play well, Hope that a scout see's you, asks you for a trial, and hope you impress. Macclesfield Town used to entertain triel requests. Not sure they do any more.
