    Got to love that call on Walcott. He hooks the ball out from a spurs player, the spurs guy falls over. A nice clean tackle. The ref gives a FK and a yellow. Then waits for the Red Card review from VAR.

    Horrible injury to Gomes.

    I do hope they rescind the red card against Son - that was as inadvertent as possible re the injury. The yellow was sufficient. Guy wouldn't have been clear headed enough after anyway - he was in pieces when he realized how the ankle looked (was it snapped).

    Atkinson clearly had a yellow in his hand when he initially approached Son. It wasn't until he saw the extent of the injury that he produced the red card.

    OK - a rule change I could live with...if a player gets a red card, they ought to be suspended for their team's next three games, regardless of the competition...(I understand it not carrying over to international competition, which I agree with - as that is a different team...)
