Dont flatter yourself by calling it historic. Your just another team in MLS who we just took a shit on.

You know, I want to say the same thing, but you took the words right out of my mouth. :p

Look, we're the league's top team, and you beat us. In the company of RSL and FCD. Not many teams can say that. So, yeah, for you guys, it IS historic.

I'm flattering you, not the other way around. Enjoy the win. See you next season.

Yup. Full credit, sans snark. You guys beat the pants off of us. Well done.

When we beat RSL at home they just came off their CCL loss. They were vulnerable. This time, it was Portland who came out of the depths of a difficult run to beat a surging runner for the Supporters' Shield.

Thanks for the recognition. I'm still reveling in the fact we play in MLS! Having played 10 seasons where there was not once any continuity in the league table to playing the Galaxys, Dynamos, and Red Bulls of MLS is beautiful even without last night's result.

I get this in my pm inbox.

    Angry bro is angry.

I guess the reality that your team is not as special as you think really hit home.

Also funny how you chose to edit a gay slur to show up but couldnt bother with f*ck.

Posting my PM to you reinforces my opinion of you. I'm congratulating your team, and this is what I get?

Yo. This forum's not an extension of MLS Fan Rivalries. You want to go ahead and do some mudslinging, you do it here.

I'll see you there. With all the other angry bros.

One more thing: CONCACAF Champions League > Cascadia Cup. You do the math.

“It's a good atmosphere, obviously something you want to play in front of,” Galaxy midfielder David Beckham said after his team lost 3-0 on Aug. 3, arguably the seminal moment of the Timbers season. “You want to play in front of fans that are passionate about their team.”
