The only thing that can save Casemiro next years is Zidane`s stubbornness as in the case of Benzema. Llorente is simply a better player.
---------Casemiro-------- ---Llorente-----Modric--- -----------Kroos----------- That's one way it could work I guess.
Yeah i'd want both in the squad. I think regardless of what happens with Llorente one of Isco/James (or potentially both) will be leaving this summer. I just hope we give Asensio more minutes next season if they do leave, no point purchasing another player on that front.
I'm wondering if Marcos Llorente can play the role Zidane wants Casemiro to play. Normally Casemiro goes up in certain games to kill off certain attacks and pull off others while Modric and Kroos play from deep, needless to say that Casemiro is good at destroying the attacks before they begin but not that good in attacking. I wonder if Llorente can do that part. I'd like to see how a midfield of Kroos, Casemiro, Kovacic/Isco and Llorente would work in the future. Kovacic/Isco Kroos - Llorente Casemiro Kovacic/Isco would be the midfielder up top playing in a role similar to a roaming playmaker. Maybe we can finally afford having Kroos at DLP if he has Llorente and Casemiro to flank him. Guy would literally have the time of his life shooting long balls with limited defensive responsibility.
Eintracht sporting director: "Vallejo has a clear structure. I rarely meet a player with a clearer mind & idea what he wants. He's very far"
Very weird comments from Marcos' dad.... http://www.marca.com/en/football/real-madrid/2017/04/07/58e7ba3946163f79528b45f2.html
Dumb thing to say but essentially leveraging the Theo rumors to tell the club to bring him back next year, which in my eyes at least is a formality.
His dad is probably trying to pressure the club to bring him back. I don't really like his comments. We decide wha happens to him as long as he is contractually obligated to Real. He will split time Casemiro.
Vallejo out for rest of the season and will travel back to Madrid. He's had few injury troubles in recent years. http://as.com/futbol/2017/04/19/internacional/1492638736_261550.html
Another prime talent ********ed by injuries. First Varane and now potentially Vallejo. This is getting really annoying. Really wish we had defenders we could depend on 100% during this part of the season.
Nacho is that man. Wouldn't let him go for anyone. He's also versatile and equally as good across the backline.
Injuries happen but not this frequently... especially to a 20 year old. http://www.transfermarkt.com/jesus-vallejo/verletzungen/spieler/251896
You make a valid point, lots of muscular injuries. Good info. Wouldn't give up on him yet, hopefully he can work past these injures.
http://www.managingmadrid.com/2017/...cos-llorente-is-starting-to-look-like-redondo Excellent article which highlights how great Marcos Llorente can potentially become.
I don't like those recent comments from Llorente. "Not coming back to sit on the bench", as if the first team spot needs to be handed to him without him proving he's better then Casemiro. It's clearly a case of putting pressure on the management which he shouldn't be doing if he feels he's good enough. Casemiro is not a galactico, if Marcos is better, he'll get his spot.
Still, it's clearly putting pressure on the club in a way that I just can't approve considering the circumstances.
Not coming here to sit on the bench the way Morata has been made to, as opposed to being handed a starting spot as soon as he sets foot in the dressing room, highly doubt it's the latter.
