Sorry if this was already cleaned up, but came across this while looking for something else so figured I'd share: Ramon was born in Mexico, but lived in the United States since he was a child. Now, he has decided to risk everything to reach his goals in the country he says he belongs in. Now being of age, Ramón aims to process his Visa so he can visit his family in Reno, Nevada. http://www.alianzadefutbol.com/nota.php?id=683&lang=en
A likely incomplete list for 2017-18: First Team Paul Arriola '95 Joe Corona '90 Alejandro Guido '94 Michael Orozco '86 On loan with Dorados Fernando Arce, Jr. '96 Carlos Lopez '96 Amando Moreno '95 John Requejo '96 Today in the U20s: Brian Perez '99 (started) Ernesto Espinoza '99 (started) Samuel Velazquez '99 (unused sub) Jonathan Esparza '99 (unused sub) Angel Uribe '99 (unused sub) Edson Alvarado '98 (subbed on) Jesus Enriquez '97 (subbed on) Today in the U17s Sergio Gonzalez '00 (subbed on) Antonio Nava '99 and Jared Romero '00 are also registered to the U20s and there are some U15s as well. More could pop up with the Liga Premier (the rebranded Segunda Division, which comprises the 3rd & 4th tier) season starts up.
The U15s: Mario Lopez, '02 Pedro Reyes, '02 (seems to have done well last year) Leobardo Tenorio, '02 Some of the Xolos Premier guys from last year have been cleared out. The only one who appears to be remaining is '97 Samuel Velazquez.
Match report from U20s: (in Spanish): http://xolos.com.mx/noticias/xoloit...les-sub-20-se-impone-5-2-ante-la-m-quina.html XOLOITZCUINTLES SUB 20 IMPOSES 5-2 ON THE MACHINE. Tijuana, Baja California, July 21, 2017. The U20 category of Club Tijuana started the 2017 Apertura with a resounding 5-2 win against La Celeste Azul de la Cruz Azul. William Alarcón opened the scoring in the first minute of the game to overtake the Celestes. Alarcón himself increased the visitors 'advantage to 8', when he converted 2-0. Al 42 ', César Crespo came to the area and shot to goal, his shot was on the line but the rear cross sent the netzulina to the back of the net for 1-2. At the start of the second half, Ernesto Espinoza impeccably took a free kick to tie the score to two goals (47 '). Brian Perez managed to turn the slate to put the 3-2 in favor of the Aztec Canes (52 '). The Rojinegros continued insisting and in the 70 ', Samuel López made the fourth annotation for the border. In the final stretch of the match, Captain Ángel Espinoza defined the fifth goal of the match (88 '). The match ended 5-2. The Xoloitzcuintles are already preparing to face Club Necaxa, in the duel corresponding to the second date of the 2017 Apertura Mx League (July 29, 11: 30hrs Center). Here's a highlight video: https://www.facebook.com/xoloitzcuintles/videos/vb.29745357129/10154516377612130/?type=2&theater
The league is reporting the Espinoza goal as having come from Edson Alvarado, another Yank, but the goalscorer in the video is #289 and it looks like Alvarado is #297. I tend to trust the club on player ID.
While it's highly possible and would be very unsurprising if Xolos Premier guys were cleared out, keep in mind that the Segunda Division starts a few weeks after Liga MX and Ascenso MX. I wouldn't be shocked if some of them suddenly show up as registered players in a little bit, either at Xolos or perhaps at an independent club.

I spotted Ramon Ceja on the bench for Dorados, but this article leads me to think he never got US citizenship (or even a Green Card): Since the arrival of Ceja to Tijuana´s Club, he has been in different situations, first he didn't have the regularity that he was wishing for, but in the last games he has convinced the coach Gilberto Mora, scoring his sixth goal of the season in the 3-1 win against Puebla. You can see the whole chapter here. Ramon was born in Mexico, but lived in the United States since he was a child.
