returned from injury Sidney Friede is on call for Germany U20. Still hasn't made his pro debut and getting closer to being 21.

Late to posting this, but '01 California native and USSDA (De Anza Force) product Yannick Scheidegger resurfaced with Swiss YNTs last month, playing 90 minutes in a friendly against Austria for Switzerland U18s.
he also started the previous game, where he provided an assist. and today scored in a 2-2 draw vs England. already more productive than his brother for the NT. That provisional cap tie is all but sealed though.
In case we needed further confirmation, this article says U.S. Soccer says Edwin Lara has already filed his one-time switch to the US. Also that Mexico is interested in Antonio Leone and Kevin Jimenez of LAFC and the US U15s; Leone has been the primary US U15 captain. https://www.theringer.com/soccer/20...ual-national-jonathan-gonzalez-efrain-alvarez
Alexis Cerritos started & went 90 for El Salvador in 1-0 loss in 2nd round of U20s: https://www.concacaf.com/en/under-20s-men/game-detail/456472#tab_match=match-details
Saw Leone play once (I probably also saw Jimenez and I just don't remember his game). Leone was pretty bad. I was expecting much better. Looked very slow. Thats not to say he's a bad player, but it wasn't a great game for him.
The search function isn't working, so I can't exactly find it right now, but I believe it was that tournament played in California that was shown on ESPN.

New York-born prospects Folarin Balogun and Oisin McEntee started against each other for England U18 and Ireland U18, respectively. Balogun scored. https://www.buzz.ie/football/ireland-u18s-beaten-by-england-307329
Mexico called in the U15s: https://miseleccion.mx/la-seleccion-nacional-mexico-sub-15-trabaja-car-3/ US-based players: Alcalá Alejandro -- Stockton LA Palomares Donovan -- Los Angeles Salazar Leyva Abel Samuel -- Pateadores Academy LA
This Mexico camp has already started, and Palomares was also on a list of players called up to a USYNT ID camp happening now, so we can assume he turned down the US callup in favor of Mexico.
A quick profile of Ricardo Pepi regarding his dual national status: https://www.fcdallas.com/post/2018/11/26/academy-ricardo-pepi-taking-two-nations-storm
Efrain Alvarez called in with Mexico's U17s for small camp for teams not in the playoffs: https://miseleccion.mx/se-concentro-la-snm-sub-17-3/
Alcala and Palomares are making the trip with the team to Spain, while Salazar was one of seven players cut from the team in camp.
In the end I guess he will stay with Holland and not play for the U.S. team, but Kik Pierie, 18, gives some insight on his American background (Dutch parents, born in Boston while his father, a surgeon, worked at Harvard. Moved back to Holland at 3 months old). https://t.co/fDErlFz32G— Brian Sciaretta (@BrianSciaretta) December 5, 2018
German U17 Jan camp has M.Tillman and Scott (question mark on his USA connection). and Stuttgart's Maximilian Goggel on call.
Erik McCue on Sweden's radar: Houston Dynamo homegrown defender Erik McCue is receiving significant interest from Sweden for potential call-up to youth team in 2019. He is eligible for USMNT as well but has yet to receive a call up. One to keep a close eye on in the new year.— J.R. Eskilson (@JREskilson) December 15, 2018
