Novakovich scored on a scramble in the box this weekend and it sounds like Sargent had a goal, assist, and a drawn PK.

I totally agree. It just depends on what your appetite for building out of the back is, and what your midfield situation looks like. I'll always favor wingbacks who can charge up the field and overlap midfielders, and make those out-of-nowhere runs during moments of hold-up play.

Especially if McKennie becomes the 6 we all hope he can be, I am all for putting Yedlin and Robinson at outside backs and giving them the greenlight to join/build the attack out of the back. They have some elite athletic traits and the US would be silly to minimize them, especially in a period where the US is young (and lacking) technically and will have to rely on inherent athletic traits more than ever.

Alfredo Morales is starting in the Bundesliga. I thought he was still playing in 2. Bundesliga.

Lynden Gooch netted two down in League 1. Looks to be a big player for them this year. Looks like itll be a three horse rase between Sunderland, Peterborough, and Portsmouth for auto promo

As an FYI, pretty fortunate. The goalscorers did most of the work. Good finish though.

Been a lot of goals/assists for yanks abroad so far in this young season.

    Today alone:

    • Pulisic - 1 assist (at least) - very menacing in a 7-0 drubbing
    • Andrew Wooten - 1 Goal
    • Adekoya - 2 goals
    • Amon - 1 Goal
    • Jann George - GW assist
    • Pierrot - 1 goal

he's been making the 18 in bundesliga 2 with duisburg....getting subbed in late in the second half lately but hasnt put up any goals/assists yet...

hopefully, he will get more minutes/starts and work his way into the team....

BTW duisburg is in last place in BL2 so maybe the coach needs to start using him more.......actually give him some starts cuz he seemed to be showing well in pre-season
