It’s been quite a year for Danielle Tolmais. A talented and determined 23-year-old from Wildwood, Tolmais graduated from St. Louis University last year with a degree in studio art and a desire to pursue a career in professional soccer. After marketing herself with emails and highlight videos to six or seven clubs in France, she signed with third division Le Havre Athletic Club in late May. But before leaving the United States, she was contacted by another club, second division Union Sportive Saint-Malo, which worked out a transfer deal to secure Tolmais’ rights. But Tolmais’ stay with Saint-Malo was limited as well. In mid-January, she was transferred again, this time to ASJ Soyaux in France’s premier women’s league. Then, late last week, Tolmais was on the move again, this time signing with another first-division squad, Lille Olympique Sporting Club, or LOSC, which opens its season late this month against three-time defending league champion Lyon. The highlight of the year for Tolmais came in February when she called up by France’s B team to represent her new country in the Turkish Women’s Cup. France beat Mexico 2-1 to win the 12-team event as Tolmais led all scorers. In all competitions last season, Tolmais scored 27 times. https://www.stltoday.com/sports/soc...cle_fcd3a715-8d88-5207-8b93-5a049d51d54e.html
Not quite sure where she is right now: ADRIANA RODRIGUES https://soccergrlprobs.com/blogs/blog/10-things-i-learned-while-playing-overseas After Portugal, I tried my luck with a team in Hungary, and now, because of various circumstances, I’m at home in sunny Florida for a few months before I head back to Europe to continue my career.
I went through my list of UEFA-eligible American players and found a couple of updates: Arianna Criscione - St. Malo (France) Evelyn Nicinski - Blau-Weiss Hohen Neuendorf (Germany)
Hanna Terry has been with LB07 in Sweden: Due to injury, LB07's new acquisition Hanna Terry's procedure has not played with its new team. But she already feels at home in the club and in Malmö. - I really enjoy it. My mother is from Malmö so I'm familiar with the city even though I grew up in the United States and the whole team is like a big family, telling the 27-year-old forwarden and looking forward to the comeback on the plan. Last season she played in KIF Örebro in Damallsvenskan and the year before in QBIK in Elitettan. Both teams left the series, but it was not due to Hanna Terry's efforts. An interview from last year with questions in Swedish and answers in English: The interesting thing is she mentions that she has another job as a teacher.
