Veronica Latsko picked up 2 goals last week:

Sofia Huerta and Sydney FC snapped Adelaide United’s unbeaten streak with a 5-2 victory last Thursday at Lions Stadium. Veronica Latsko scored two goals for Adelaide and has six goals on the season. The forward is tied with Natasha Dowie and Sam Kerr for the golden boot. Amber Brooks won seven of eight duels as she earned her sixth start for the Reds. Huerta scored her first goal of the season off a cross from Caitlin Foord.

    In today's match:

Carson Pickett, Celeste Boureille started & went 90. Chioma Ubogagu entered in 76th.

Pickett grabbed an assist for her side's only goal:

They were rewarded for their composure on 38 minutes when Carson Pickett received the ball wide on the left flank. The 25-year-old summed up the situation perfectly, whipping in a delicious cross which was met by Allira Toby.

Just over eight yards out and in some fine form of her own, Toby was never going to miss, heading into the bottom left corner past Sham Khamis who was rooted to the spot.

From The Equalizer on last week in the W-League:

    https://equalizersoccer.com/2018/12/26/w-league-week-8-review-kerr-bledsoe-shine/

Save of the Week—Aubrey Bledsoe (Sydney FC)

Aubrey Bledsoe (Washington Spirit) kept Sydney FC with a chance of gaining points in their 2-1 loss versus Perth Glory, with the best stop coming when she dived to her right to save a powerful shot from Sam Kerr, who had dribbled past three defenders near the top of the box in the 40th minute.

Import of the Week—Veronica Latsko (Adelaide United)

Veronica Latsko, the Houston Dash loanee, continued to impress with her seventh goal of the season, in her first year in the W-League, as Adelaide United defeated previously high-flying Melbourne Victory 3-2 before 902 at home on Friday, December 21.
