    AHA my dream finale: USA-GERMANY

I should make some bet on this finale game.

I told it many many times on american board.
    But they don´t believe me.

I think USA-Germany are in finale.

Re: PREVIEW: World Cup, Germany and our GROUP

a few groups id like to see taking into account my own interests and of course, the probably seedings...

    germany
    switzerland
    ecuador
    saudi arabia!

germany get easy ride into next round :p

    holland
    usa
    south korea
    australia

the yanks to finish in last place in this group cos im sick of hearing how good the team is when they hardly play any meaningful competition... no offence to the american posters here, but their qualification format is a joke and i believe the australians and some asians are better than the USA...this is in my own interests and id love an opportunity for them to prove this...

    brazil
    portugal
    czech republic/poland/ukraine
    japan

japan gave brazil a tough time at the confed cup and im tired of seeing the brazilians get a free ride into the KO stages with easy first round groups... this is the toughest test i can come up with keeping the seeding restrictions in mind...

Yes Switzerland or Spain in German group would be great.
    And Saudi Arabia.

Looks like Americans wants to have the similar group with Switzerland and
    Saudi Arabia.

Switzerland are favorite country for both:)

No one will Holland, Czech Republic.

Some Americans wish Germany in their group. But I think many of them underestimate our team. They just think of revange for World Cup 2002.

It's funny. On every World Cup people say Germany isn't one of the top favorites: but why no team reached the final as often as Germany? Hm ...

Sorry to be a pest, but ...

Are these the real pots (if so, where did you find them), or did you make them up? If they are the real pots they certainly overturn some previously held assumptions, namely that after the top seeds, the pots are determined by geography, not quality. Therefore, all of the CONCACAF teams should be in one pot, ditto the Africans, Asians and South Americans (although one team could be moved to even out the numbers). You say max two countries from the same continent, but I can't see FIFA allowing two countries from any continent other than Europe to meet in the group stage. Again, if these are the real pots I'm very surprised.

    I think

    Germany
    Holland
    Serbia
    Ukraine

would be a bit of a bummer... possible based on the pots, but is an all European group allowed?

Well I think Germany will be first in our group...I really think we will have great tournament..

concerning USA...I think they will go to next round...they will not finish in first round....

USA is better than in 2002 .so I believe USMNT will be as successful as in 2002 or better...I tend to say that USA will be much better than they were last World Cup....I followed their qualifying games ...and I know USA did beat Mexico...so I would not underestimate US team.

Replace Ivory Coast with Ghana and i tend to agree. Droghba and friends are overrated imo, while the Black Stars are much stronger than most people give them credit for. We'll have a better idea after the ANC though, if the top clubs let their players go that is.
