    Come on, Iceland

"Come on Iceland" would be rude and awfully cold.
It might freeze almost instantly. ;)

    Punctuation saves lives:

Based on the next 50 minutes, not so much?
(actually, I have been busy and forgot this was on. I just looked it up on the BBC and only one goal scored after 75 minutes).

I hope Croatia wins because a France/England final is going to be a 0-0 game decided by PK's.

I thought France played a negative, boring, defensive game today. It was disappointing.

I expect England to seriously bunker and long ball it over the Croatia midfield to a speedy Sterling. That will be abysmal.

    I think the opposite.
England will play an up tempo, positive game and 2-0.

Agreed. There's nothing more boring than watching two very good teams do nothing and just hope they don't make a mistake.

Of course, the two teams combined for 16 premier league players in the starting lineups, so maybe it was to be expected...

My mother was born and raised in New Cross SE London and hated soccer. She hated it even worse , when an American would hear her distinct accent and begin to talk "football". She had no interest in the English national team , and would've preferred to talk about softball as she had NO IDEA who Shearer was-but she LOVED playing softball.
She would roll her eyes and crinkle her nose at every upcoming world cup and the chatter she would have to endure. England missing 94 made her incredibly happy...
In her memory I will say this...
    Go Croatia.

I picked France to win it all at the start, and I was rooting for them, but after yesterday’s game, their tactics, and Mbappe being a dick, I will be rooting for Croatia/England to beat them.

Well...here I am to say Belgium losing was a big disappointment for me. I was hoping for a lovely attacking Croatia v. Belgium final but instead we have a bunkering negative France who will probably end up with a bumbling England side. I still say Belgium was better despite the score. I will give major props to that Mbappe kid. Dang he is clever and dangerous.

I said it a while back I hated France-not the country or NT ..BUT THIS TEAM. Their last 2 or 3 games they have really begun to show what I thought about them from the beginning . I think it may have been the friendly vs the US where I began to really dislike them.

Looks like we've got a match now as Croatia ties it up at 1 in the 68th.

Almost for England. . . Croatia with a defender making a header save at the line.
