Half hour in, HSV up 1-0 on a beautiful free kick goal by Hunt. Bobby not seeing much of the ball- Hoffenheim doing a good job channeling the ball out to the wings and stuffing the attack there. HSV with all he possession, but mostly in non-threatening locations.
Just as i wrote that l, Bobby got to a long ball and totally abused a CB trying to hold him back. Juked another defender but his shot was straight at the keeper. HSV give up a very soft PK at the other end. 1-1 now.
I appreciate more Bobby's lack of assists. He just played a very nice pass into the box for his teammate. Kostic hesitates too long and then gets a yellow for a dive in the box. Wow- epic fail.
In the world or in this thread? Either way, I was just replying to one post and I'm not even sure he believes that. I'm also unsure what point you were making and to what end, so I am probably not addressing this appropriately.
Halftime. 1-1. HSV really aren't that good and Hoffenhiem are good, so I think it's a good sign that it's 1-1 and HSV have been the aggressors most of the game. Bobby had one more moment- 2 on 3 break and he tried to dribble through the defense- didn't fool he last defender and the ball rolled to the keeper.
I think he typically gets better looks this 2nd half of the season when Muller is in. Muller is one of the few players other than Wood whose talent exceeds the team's table position.
Hoff is so much better than Hamburg, but Hamburg seem to have eaten their lucky charms. If they escape with 3 it's a miracle.
Hof had keeper in Hamburg box. Hamburg broke out but couldn't get open shot. Bobby woulda scored there!
Wow. Hamburg sucked donkey balls at the end. So lucky to not lose it much less win. Points will go a long way to staying up, but they have to play better than that or they'll be down soon enough. Ugh.
So looks pretty much like Hamburg not being relegated. Boyd's team for sure. But what is the other 2 likely to go down now?
