Not a good start for the first debutant (Qatar)

    Bahrain 17-0 Qatar (Half-time 8-0].

They had it tough, playing the tournament favourites in the first match. Their games get gradually easier - Egypt next followed by Lebanon. Based on that first result, I'd expect they may concede 12 or more against Egypt, and they may manage to keep Lebanon to 'only' 10. Gradually, by playing more games, they will improve. Most teams lose heavily at the beginning. It was only 30 or 40 years ago that Oman's men team lost 21-0 to Libya - now they are winning the Gulf Cup and playing top teams like Chile.
