I can't believe he's finally gone. Really curious who's gonna take over. Sent from my SM-N920W8 using Tapatalk
Official: #Roma reveal Radja #Nainggolan has renewed his contract until 2020 https://t.co/27w1Z5QHtG— RomaPress (@ASRomaPress) October 6, 2016 Good! Leandro #Castan has also officially renewed his contract with #Roma until 2019 https://t.co/qW6QTNdN4k— RomaPress (@ASRomaPress) October 6, 2016 And interesting!
Happy to re-sign Nainggolan. If the rumors of his wage being 5 mil are true, I'm not sure I care for that.
That's at least 1.5 mil above market value for that position. The only players who get paid more are De Rossi and Higuain.
And soon to be Dybala if you believe the news stories. He is supposed to get a raise to 6M per year after taxes. I wonder if Juve will still have enough money to bribe all the CL refs and UEFA cronies to make the finals.
You just set off old man falcs anti Rube post alarm. But they don't need bride money to win because they bought Higuain and if there's one striker in world football who you can count on when it matters it's him.
He'd be taking home more than Vidal and Modric at 5 mil net, unless those two know Messi's tax lawyer. Matuidi makes more, but we don't play on the same field that PSG does. They're giving 10 mil to freaking Ben Arfa.
Yikes.. I didn't know that was more than Modric. I think he is the best and most under-appreciated CM in the game. Yea, no way I pay him more than Modric.
I have no problem keeping Ninja and paying guys who've earned their stripes. It sets a good precedent for players were trying to bring in that we will pay you if you do good for us. I'm just concerned about what this means in the Strootman negotiations. I can't imagine we pay them both like that.
IMO, Stroot needs to prove 2 things. One, he can stay healthy and two he can return to form. Roma have gone above and beyond with Kevin and no way they should give him a big raise at this point.
Losing Sabatini is big - I think he's been one of Roma's few bright spots over the years. Milan would be happy to have him and I suspect he's already been contacted.
Sabatini had his hits and misses. A very good collector of talent, not so much a team builder, and he's a little bit of a snake. We outgrew his strong suits. We do need to bring in someone who embraces analytics. That isn't Sabatini.
For where Milan is yes he would be a good purchase. I said the same 3 years ago, Milan was the place for his skill set. Roma needed to move on years ago when his level of ability matched where he got us.
