What I should have simply said is that its possible to come back from a 3-0 score... I wasnt trying to be insulting.

I should be on around 11pm EST as well. Also, I dont care if I dont play scheduled matches online a certain night, since there are plenty of people to play against, and I'm not even sure its this league, but the past three nights I've set up times to play against people that never showed up.

It might be interesting to play more of a tournament format one day, where we all agree to show up a one time, play a bunch of games, and then get the playoffs started after that. If we have too many players, we can have two tournaments going on at the same time, and the two winners play each other. Just a thought.

<<Don't worry about it...with the way you play I doubt you'll have many chances to "prove your sportsmanship.">>

Judging from the time I played you, and knowing full well that I at worst played you even in 3 of the 4 halves in our 2 matches, that's a bit of the pot calling the kettle black wouldn't you say?

I have played both you and stranger and you're not only not in his league, you're not even playing the same game - with or without your bogus ranking.

Dunno about letting up I havent had many opportunities but this is a League Competition. If I have a -7 Differential on standings Im gonna score as many as I can to get positive if I feel I can score on the opposition. Arsenal didnt stop pummeling everton when they beat them 7-0 after 3 goals I believe this years pummeling was middlesborough...

I guess it goes back to the saying it only makes you stronger

Played my fixtures with Machtetazo (MadVillainMx). I am Cameroon, he is Ukraine

    Ukraine 1-1 Cameroon
    Cameroon 0-0 Ukraine

Two of the leading goalscores faced off, and Shevchenko and Eto'o each increased their total in the first match. Shevchenko scored a pretty free kick, and Eto'o put home a penalty on what was a questionable call. The game was played in rainy conditions.

Game 2 was marred by poor finishing. It ended scoreless. Machetazo exploits his team's strengths nicely. He stays very compact on defense (only 1 goal allowed in 5 games, and on a PK at that!), and lets Shevchenko lead the attack, along with Vorobin(sp?). His big goons in the back :)) ) dominated in the air.

MxKobain (Turkey) and I (Germany) played our games today. Two good games, one win each

    Turkey 3-2 Germany

    Fatih Tekke 7 Kuranyi 52
    Basturk 20 Ernst 88
    Fatih Tekke 28

MxKobain basically won this match in the first 20 minutes. Dont know what happened, but my defense wasnt responsive at all, and he took full advantage. Changed tactics in the second half and got two back, but I sense MxKobain let up a bit

    Germany 1-0 Turkey

    Ballack 38

My defense played more solid here, but my posts were MVP of the match. I think he hit the post three times. I got a post too, but put one in from MOM Ballack. I thought the game was very even, I was pretty lucky to come out with a win,.

Is Fatih Tekke the real name of Farry Tikki, or are they different players? I'll be on a bit later BTW.

I (Portugal) just played Machetazo/MadvillianMx (Ukraine).

    Game #1: Portugal 2:4 Ukraine

    0:1 Shevchenko-first half
    1:1 Nuno Gomes-42'
    2:1 C.Ronaldo-45+'
    2:2 Shevchenko-second half
    2:3 Vorobei-second half
    2:4 Vorobei-second half

    Game #2: Ukraine 4:5 Portugal

    0:1 Figo-7'
    1:1 Shevchenko-22'
    2:1 Vorobei-26'
    3:1 Shevchenko-32'
    3:2 Boa Morte-54'
    3:3 Pauleta-77'
    3:4 Pauleta-83'
    3:5 Figo-87'
    4:5 Shevchenko-89'

You can totally see the difference when you're hosting the half. Each person hosts one half for each game (the one you kick off). It's always a little slower when it's not your half. That really messes up my game since I'm all about the dribbling.

In the two halves I hosted, I outscored him 6-2, and in his halves, 1-6.

Played two games, first versus Peruvian6663, then hecho en mexico

    Cameroon 5-2 Hungary
    M'bami
    Eto'o (3)
    Geremi
    Szabics
    Torghelle

This one was much closer than the score indicates. A goal by Eto'o and a long free kick by Geremi broke a 2-2 tie. Eto'o adds another late.

    Cameroon 1-2 Ireland
Cameroon starts very well, and Eto'o capitalizes on a defensive giveaway for the first goal. The second half is dominated by Ireland. The Irish players run circles around their sluggish opponents, and it is only a matter of time before Duff and Miller are able to score the goals necessary for victory. Cameroon has two chances to tie late, but cannot convert.
