    Hey all,

My idea for this thread is an open discussion thread where we can talk about all current Liga MX players and if their play merits a chance at playing futbol in Europe. Many people think this is the "Golden Generation" of Mexican Soccer. With that in mind which players (Fabian, Mier, Chaton) should move to europe and who should stay home instead of becoming a fracaso in europe?

Damn, people are being harsh on this dude... he's still a noob after all.

However, this thread is completely redundant. Plenty of this kind of discussion already happens in the transfer rumors thread and elsewhere.

Most of the replies....eh?? In regards to the OP, the idea is actually a good one from my point of view as this is not same as transfer rumors and it could provide an in more depth discussions of current players excelling in our domestic league. It wouldn't be just naming players and destination club. No, it could actually be an analytic discussion as to why player x should make the jump across the pond. All that said and done though, the same discussion could fall under Mexican Football Random thoughts thread and one also needs to look at Mexico N&A to see how much of a reception this kind of thread would receive and has already received. Not many care for these type of discussions.

Could you please provide a good explanation as to why this thread is needed on top of the transfer rumors thread. Until then I will close it.

I just hope chivas doesn't win the concachampions because if they do they're gonna try to keep Fabian and chaton again saying "we need them for clubs world cup, one more at chivas won't make a difference"

What i would want would be for Chivas to sell Chaton and Fabian and next transfer season just use that money to buy some new players.

I think Chivas actually benefits from selling players to European teams. In my opinion they have become highly regarded in terms of youth development by european teams after Chicharito and they can use that to build their brand.

what fucking good is that if it just kills Chivas' process and chances of winning any silverware?!

    Ask Americanistas...:ROFLMAO:

Seriously though, I'd like to see Chivas win a tourney again....and making a deep run in CA would be good. To show that an all Mexican team can do it. (as they have before)

    Definitely.
If they have a strong showing at the U20 world cup (as I'm sure they will), I'm sure some will get looks. I've been looking at that talent pool and idk which to rank higher (Gio's or Briseno's)... While Gio's talent pool had GREAT players like vela, gio, and moreno, this pool seems to have a lot more prospects (Galvan, Briseno, Espiricueta, Casillas, Fierro, Flores, Gonzalez, Gomez, Bueno; not to mention Sanchez who is a giant at 18 and is being trained by the nads who have a great track record with goalies). These new guys also arguably have 5 years in hand on gio and vela which they lamentably wasted making bad decisions and not playing...
