I'm going with a friend so there will be at least two people in the stands that night. But when I spoke to the ticket rep it didn't sound like there'd be many people there - and not just because they're limiting sales to 10,000 tickets. Anyone else going?
I'm so there. Shame we won't break the Final attendance record, but we don't even seem to be trying, which annoys hella much.
I plan on going but i dont know if i have to work should i get the tickets now or do you think that tickets will be avaliable game day
You'd probably be OK. But ... ... if I were in your shoes I wouldn't chance it. Tickets are as low as $10 if you buy them directly from the Galaxy. I'd buy the tickets and if it turned out I couldn't go I'd consider those $10 charity towards the US Open Cup.
theres a group of about 8-10 infernites going from dallas...unfortunately school will not allow me to go
Im there with 5 other family members. Glad to do my part. One day We'll all look back at the this attendance and laugh.......hopefully
I just don't get it. LAG averages around 23/24k for regular MLS games and for the US Open Cup final which it is hosting with over a month to sell tickets it seems the game will not break 10k. This is a Cup final for goodness sake......
Do it. I'm coming straight from Santa Ana so I need some grub (mmm, garlic fries!). I'm gonna get a drink in and then head over to the lot. Don't know if you have had the same experience but their IPA must be popular cuz the last two times I was there, they ran out. They got this awesome root beer though.
While I watch the Galaxy game last week when they played Dallas I think. It was on Galavision, but anyways, at halftime, they interviewed DouG Hamilton and he said hhat it was due to neighbor concerns of it being too loud, CSUDH also had some problems with it being during school hours or something. Galaxy promised them that there would be no more than 10K, that was the agreed upon figure
i'm going too. I was also there on Sunday and was pleasently surprised with the crowd size on a Sunday night game. HDC is just a great place to watch a soccer match.
Wouldn't you know it! I'm gonna be later than expected. So much for Red Car. I think I'll have to settle for a big ol' cup of Knob Creek on the walk from the car to the will call window. Then I'll toast the soccer gods and chug the last before heading in the gate.
I believe they are limiting it to 10,000 because the stadium is on the campus of Cal State Fullerton and classes are going on.
its actually at Dominguez Hills. and yeah I do hear that about that from some people who take night classes.
