I'm actually gonna go with guido buchwald at Urawa. If they clean up next season it seems like a fit. Maybe Toninho Cerezo.

I have a feeling it will be a coach from one of the traditional powers where they get most of their talent (Kashima, FCT, Urawa, Jubilo, maybe JEF or Gamba if they repeat their success)

It's not a rumour if we go for Arsene Wenger, it's if he'd leave Arsenal. JFA Pres has already said he wants Wenger to replace Zico and would ahve discussions with him and Arsenal in the future. Arsenal have been falling apart evr since they last won the title and it wouldn't surprise me if we actually got him. I could also see him doing a Guus Hidink, managing Arsenal and Japan at the same time and he would leave Arsenal at the end of next season. Does any one remember Zico and Arsene talking Tactics while Japans training session in the Confed Cup before the Brazil game :D

I don't think that would effect Wengers judgment. I think he's professional enough, i think most of the bad feeling is on Ina's part because he never played for Arsenal

I want Ivica Osim, but due to his health problem it will be difficult.

    My candidates
    1.Arsene Wenger
2.Akira Nishino (Only if he managed Gamba at the same time)
    3.Toninho Cerezo
    4.Takeshi Okada

JFA says they can't afford Wenger but don't think thats the end of it, hopefully not anyway. They also hinted that they may go for a home grown manager if they can't get Wenger.

He loves Arsenal. That's why he's so expensive. When the fans love him, the players love him, and everyone involved with the club love him, it'd be very difficult for him to leave for any amount of money.

I think if Wenger becomes the coach for Blue Heaven, the team would have to be given a new nickname: Arsenal Nihon.
