I would pick Jari Litmanen, who has been very underestimated. 12 years of national team's captaincy (1996-2008)! I adored him when he played for AJAX.
Given the names in the poll, I think Raúl, Owen and Kluivert deserve a shout too. IMO it comes down to Ronaldo, Zidane and Rivaldo ultimately.
Wow not even a mention for Roberto Carlos? He was twice in the top three for world player of the year. Then theirs the debate that Ryan Giggs, Totti, Vieri and numerous others should be regarded up or around the best in that time.
