Unless Piojo grew a brain all of this time, I don't want him anywhere near the senior NT. How many knocks in the head it took him to realize that Lainez was the real deal? 100? 200?
Tuca is the coach for the September games. It wouldn't surprise me if they extend it to November too.
They are going to drag out this process huh? They are burning valuable friendlies. It could have been a good test and run if Mexico had their shit together and hired a manager already.
Honestly... I think it's gonna be Tuca in the end. I suspect they are putting up a façade that this is just an interim job so that he can also spend one last tournament with Tigres.
Valuable in the sense that the players start to familiarizing with the manager's tactics and build chemistry. This is important in the NT level. You think this is a video game where you can plug in a player and expect them to perform the way you think they can? Oh, please, to YOU.
lol @ familiarizing with the ratonero's tactics like he's actually going to be the coach in Qatar. Dude is going to be almost 70 in 2022!
He knows there is a shitload of molero money. If the FMF really want him, they will work something out with Tigres so Tuca gets paid. Some off the books transaction.
Let it be Álvaro Morales from ESPN Deportes or Alejandro Navarro from Telemundo. Fvck those two guys.
CONFIRMED: José Pékerman has stepped down as Colombia manager. He's the longest serving and most successful coach in the country's history.Football Federation President Ramón Jesarún: "It hurts, but it's a personal decision and had nothing to do with money or Pascual Lezcano."— Carl Worswick (@cworswick) September 4, 2018 We should strike while it's hot imo
Pekerman was my top choice after the 2006 WC It should have been him instead of Hugo. Hell, many thought he’d land the job considering he was already coaching Toluca at the time I say we bring him now. Our talent has evolved since 2007. I think he’d do great.
