Since it's likely going to be someone that has been in the Barça system, I really don't know. I don't know anyone from their staff, but I'm confident that whoever it is will be good.

...but if it were up to me it would be Ray Hudson. He did a great job with the Fusion and has been involved in every incarnation of top division soccer in South Florida. And I'm sure the local sports media would love covering his press conferences and doing interviews lol.

Hudson all the way. He was amazing the last year of the Fusion. I don't think it will happen, but he's got my vote.

Ray Hudson, of course...what he did that last year of the Fusion, spanning the globe to bring in guys like Ian Bishop and Alex Pineda Chacon--and then putting them in a system that allowed them to fully blossom...brilliant job.

15 wins, 5 losses and 5 ties that year, Supporters' Shield. Resume speaks for itself.

I remember those days Steve! The Fusion should have been champions that year... imagine if the Fusion would have survived!
How many years has it been? Have you joined the Ultras yet? Did you get season tickets?

Yes,those were great years. Now it looks like we going to have a second change. Lets not blow it. Fans send in your deposit for season tickets. Let show MLS and Claure/Barca that soccer fans in South Florida want and will support MLS.

Hristo Stoitchkov or Hudson would be interesting. John Spencer of Houston would also be a nice pick. All three have MLS experience which is a big plus.

    Some other MLS-ish potentials:

Jeff Cassar, asst. coach at RSL/former gk with Fusion
Preki, Chivas USA coach/former Fusion player
Eric Wynalda, also former Fusion player and USMNT/ESPN loud mouth. ;)
