That was an extraordinarily wonderful goal. The game has been otherwise quite a yawner.

That's a relief. We moved homes just before leaving for the summer, got back and waited for cable with a new package including MLS, I watched other games this morning, and then it went out just before the RSL game. I found a stream just before the goal

 

And we only out-shot them 6-5. Chicago is playing a 5-4-1, so low possession is expected.

 

Schwiensteiger comes in and almost immediately equalizes.

We really haven't looked good since Plata scored his second against Colorado. Figure 70 minutes in that game, 90 at San Jose, and an hour now here. At least we have a goal in that time now, but we're disjointed and bereft of ideas much more often than not over that whole span.

 

All three subs made by Chicago, so Petke has the advantage in placing his subs. Except we don't have much to turn to outside of Saucedo. Maybe Ruiz is an attacker (I thought we signed him as such but his minutes this season are as outside back).

 

That was a good, patient play leading to the goal.
