I think Conte is overall doing a good job, but I think there are better formations and possibly better squads to use rather than a 3-5-2. What do you think? Which squad and formation do you think would be the best for Italy national team?

For me I was thinking 4-3-2-1 Formation:

    GK: Gianluigi Buffon
    RB: Matteo Darmian
    CB: Daniele De Rossi
    CB: Leonardo Bonucci
    LB: Giorgio Chiellini
    RM: Claudio Marchisio
    CM: Andrea Pirlo
    LM: Marco Verratti
    AM: Antonio Candreva
    AM: Emanuele Giacherrini
    CF: Graziano Pelle

    Kind of like this:

    Buffon

    Darmian, De Rossi, Bonucci, Chiellini

    Marchisio, Pirlo, Verratti

    Giacherrini, Candreva

    Pelle

I have not heard of any of these players? Are they all in the italian squad, and are all of them ones Coach Antonio Conte has called up?

Your right, but I have hope for Totti and Toni though. Totti left the squad but still hasn't retired yet, as he is still in good shape for Roma which is why Roma is doing well. You sure Totti and Toni won't be seen again? Especially Totti?

Are you asking why I'm the Alpha and Omega? It's cuz I'm ubiquitous. Or why Balotelli is on the bench? BTW, I have a spot on there for you too. Which one you want? Or do you want to be ref designator? We could certainly use one of those internationally.

I noticed that but I was more curious about the 1-4-1-2-1-1 formation.

Well its not my usual position but I couldn't play in front of @Falc. Its always good to keep them within eyesight at all times. So I'll play the libero position if I come on

Personally I would play the 4-3-4 formation. Just let Balotelli start, nobody will notice the extra man on the pitch since he doesnt move.

lol...Balo rumored to be going to Napoli
@Il Ciuccio and @JCNapoli17 you guys like?

On the formation, it was meant to be the eternal 532 but the width of the post screwed it all up

If you want libero you'll have to fight Baresi for the back up spot. I don't like a Romans chances against Baresi. How about backup to Jeritto in a DDR mold?

the only time Italia should play 3-5-2 is if DDR or Bonucci is playing sweeper, otherwise its a worthless formation
