Samp and ACM are on a roll but Inter is playing poorly too so still a excellent chance at 4th. The game this weekend will tell us a lot. What will really make this season untenable is finishing below Lazio.
When creating the poll there's an option to show who voted for what, or not. Looks like I went down the anonymous road.
At the beginning of the season, I predicted, Juve, Napoli, Roma, Inter as the top 4. I am sticking with that prediction.
Just did a quick little equation to determine who, on paper, has the easier run in between Roma, Inter and Lazio, based on current league positions. It doesn't mean a great deal really but it shows that we have a slightly easier run in on paper. Taking current league position of each remaining opponent for the 3 teams and dividing by games left we get: Roma - 11.2 Inter - 10.5 Lazio - 10.1 The lower the number the harder the run in. Our next 3 games are against 11th, 9th and 5th (Lazio), with the small matter of Barcelona twice in between. This is certainly going to be a testing period for the side. Regardless of how things go in this period, Roma really should be able to, at the very, very worst, challenge for top 4 till the very end with 5 of their last 6 games coming against 13th, 17th, 16th, 14th and 15th.
those games against the bottom tier at the end of the season could prove hard because of relegation battles so lets hope we do have that 3rd or 4th position secured before the very end
