At first I was like that sounds like a cool spot shame I would have to go to Scotland. Then I Google it and I can be there in 45 minutes? That sounds like a better plan than driving to a town with a population of one just to see what the ******** that even looks like and maybe get laid lol.
I did not have any Innes & Gunn while in Scotland. I am familiar with it though. Last time I was in Vegas at Gordon Ramsay's pub (Im a huge Ramsayboo) the server told us that was Gordon's favorite beer so of course I had to get in on that. Back in Heathrow leaving soon. It's been great. Worst part was deciding which bottle to get at the duty free shop. I settled on a bottle of Laphroaig 4 barrel, I think I made a good choice.
Is Scotch cheaper in Scotland? Is the only way you're allowed to bring it back buying it at the airport? I hope you're not on one of those planes that they keep talking about on the news. Talking about Whiskey on a soccer board I kinda want to do a road trip where i hit up Louisville on the way to a double header in Indianapolis and Cinciannati. Seem like a fun road trip?
I suppose things are cheaper cause you're not paying the taxes. But yeah the only way to bring it back is to buy it in the airport. The great thing about the duty free shops in the airport is they always have rare booze. It's why I die a little inside whenever I see somebody buy common booze in one of these. And I made sure before I left that I wasn't on one of those planes. They definitely have some issue with those computers that needs to be fixed. But I made it back and looks like tomorrow you'll get some of that nice rain I brought back with me
So I’ve been using this site for ~5 years to save for travel: https://digit.co/r/_mO10?ab Simple concept. It pulls tiny amounts of money from your checking account at irregular intervals and sets it off to the side. $1 here, $.37 there. And over time it adds up. You don’t feel it on a day to day basis and all of a sudden you have $500 for a flight. Disclaimer: I get $5 if you sign up through that link. I don’t give a shit about the $5. Give it a try and let us all know where it sent you next year.
In case anyone is interested in living vicariously I made an imgur gallery of a few of my favorite photos. (Im also going to stress the importance of backups. I lost all my Thailand pics when my phone got run over by a semi) http://imgur.com/gallery/wjxOsxH My step counter says I walked 63 miles total over the course of my vacation. I'm going the more pampered transportation route next time.
Was that a result of of people invading from Chicago for cheap gas and cigarettes or Was it the hoard of people fleeing Indiana because it is, well, Indiana?
Goin to Niagara Falls this weekend. 1st time ever. Any recommendations? After geysers, water falls are my favorite bit of geo-nature.
passports arrived in the mail yesterday - we'd heard the Canada side was better, thanks for confirming.
