Where is Ito Sho?

I'm sorry, I don't live in Japan, so I don't hear all the news about Japanese football......

But I was wondering where Ito Sho is for the U20 World Cup? There is no way, he could have missed this event because he wasn't chosen, he's too good for that.

And considering he plays in France, where the season is over, its not like there is club conflict.

Even though Japan is havin an awesome run in the U20 World Cup, they could really use the service of such a speedy player like Sho, who also has European experience under his belt.

I think he was dropped because he wasn't getting much playing time in france

That makes sense, but Umesaki played on the same team and I believe he didn't play a single game for grenoble either.

Umesaki played frequently or them, usually as a sub, but he started some matches too. I think he got a goal as well.

Did he ever even do anything? Or is all his fame based on Wenger supposedly saying nice things to him.

    He isn't that good!
He's made only 2 appearances so far this season in the French division 2 league.
