@Red Bird predicted that this would happen, having seen a lot of Lukaku's games for Everton. I'm delighted that he was right.

He should have stayed the big fish in the small pond. Now he's the flounder in the big pond.

The number of recycled terrible old british managers that keep getting jobs is amazing - Pardew, Allardyce, HODGSON, Moyes

then there are complaints that the younger generation can't get a chance....well this is exhibit A

I hope the 'Klopp out " types are paying attention to this. The grass isn't always greener as Everton will likely discover.

Come on - it's so obvious the refs are letting City get as much time as they need now days to win. 5 mins extra - and of course Sterling scores into the 6th minute of extra time. They have become United now with this extra time bs.

It won't last but I'm sure Pep is the right man to get the best out of that little dickhead.

    LOL.

Everton's primary sponsor SportPesa have risked angering supporters on Merseyside for a second time by describing the club as “a hopeless place”.

The Kenyan sports betting platform reacted to the news of Sam Allardyce's appointment as the club’s new permanent manager by posting a video of Allardyce dancing to the Rihanna song ‘We Found Love’.

SportPesa’s tweet added: “Sam Allardyce is set to become the new Everton manager! Talk about finding love in a hopeless place”. The tweet was later deleted.

    you could, and rightfully so.
but I'll choose to celebrate the beauty of someone pinging a ball first-time, on a rope, into the net from 65 yards.

nice to see but tbh technically not THAT difficult imo. I'd say Mane's dink over the goalie yesterday, or Mo's volley, were more demanding.

Between them, Hodgson, Moyes, Allardyce and Pardew have been handed 18 Premier League jobs and won zero English trophies.
