Anyways, FIFA is considering changing the rules so that a player can switch countries regardless of having been capped for another NT. The Rossi's and Balotelli's of the world would be able to feature for more than 1 team if things don't work out with their first choice.

Which to me is quite crazy, but maybe it's not my place to judge.

I think such a rule is kinda ridiculous. Play for where you were raised or born, not where your parents called home.

There is no chance of Rossi at WC 18. Both Italy and USA failed to qualify.
