You guys dont have cash you have debt to your owner, your quality is not even the best in your city (it will be proven today when you lose to Arsenal), and Gerrard is a better captain than Terry, it is quite a shame he wasn't named captain in the first place for England

Daddy has cash and you have some quality. The rest of your post is inaccurate.

    The name says it all.

Terry is a good captain even if he is an overrated defender. If you're going round wanting to support rich teams just pick QPR or City.

Therin lies the problem. By virtue of being made captain England now has an overrated central defender who is virtually guaranteed to start every game when available.

If you want a good team then Manchester U, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool.
If you want a normal team then you should go for Man City,Aston Villa and Tottenham. If you want a team that might get relegated then Newcastle,West Brom and if you want to be really supportive then you should for the other teams:).

he is chelseas best defender and defends with his life, yes thats right carvalho is out of form and old and Terry is better than Alex Ivanovic Mancienne,

people who say Terry is overrated i really dont get it, they dont make sense to me really, he is a great defender yes not athletic or speed wise but he is always in the position for the last second save and always comes up with big goals on the corners.

Carvalho is Chelsea's best defender and before then it was Gallas. Terry is on the same tier as Alex and Ivanovic. Mancienne is several tiers below them.

The reason Terry is required to make those last ditch (read desperate) tackles and blocks is because he was not in the correct position or was unable to deal with the initial threat. A better defender would have not let it get to that stage. Yes, it might looks good to the fans and cameras but it is something you should not be seeing on a regular basis. His heading ability at the other end has little to do with his defensive ability.

Terry is rated highly because he is a fan favourite, puts his body on the line, is a leader and scores goals. None of which says much about his ability and standing as a defender.

I did not mean to say he was the captain of England, I said that i think Gerrard in the McClaren days should have been named captain in the first place. Sorry for not writing it clearly

I think it's safe to say Man City is now anything but normal. ;)
    a) What's with the "we?"
    b) The owner has the cash and the "best in/of" lines are debatable, so all you're left with is the overpriced quality that wouldn't be there if not for the ill-gotten money.
    c) By your approach fans should simply follow the money. How noble.

All together, I'd say your post is a grand case for rooting against Chelsea, but even that is needed. ;)

lol so many clueless americans are against chelsea cuz of roman. How come?

Manchester City and Queens Park Rangers are the two richest teams in the world, where is the hate for them? Manchester United spends 18 million pounds for the likes of Nani and Anderson and 30 million for Berbatov.

    Real Madrid is rich too.

Yet for some reason people hate chelsea cuz we have a rich owner? Wheres the hate for Man City, QPR, Portsmouth??

remember those few years united wasnt winning the league, back when they resorted to using Rio Ferdinand and Alan Smith as defensive midfielders?

Then all of a sudden they started winning the league-was it brilliant management?

Perhaps, but not nearly as much as it was due to ALL THE MONEY
    30 million for Ferdinand
    30 million for Carrick
    20 million for Ronaldo
    17 million for Anderson
    30 million for Berbatov
    30 million for Hargreaves
    18 million for Nani
    30 million for Rooney

Hey you know what that looks like to me? That looks like United are buying their titles as well

I don't recall anyone arguing that United hasn't bought their titles...

...all I remember is a certain someone saying that money is the biggest reason to support Chelsea.

You have to admit though Man United have invested in young players and then given them large contracts. Besides a couple guys like Berbatov, and Tevez. A lot of people haven't heard of these guys before they came to United. Arsenal is another team that also does this. Chelsea usually just buys big name players from big name clubs
