I don't watch alot of TV or movies- heck I barely watch soccer these days. I'll watch the occasional old Disney flick with my kids , but I recently watched Blues Brothers with my 3.5 year old daughter... Who now loves it.
I'll watch Toast of London when I'm in the kitchen cooking or doing dishes- that's about it for me .

Watched the Obama/Letterman Netflix special and then some Mad Men. I still haven't gotten out of the first season.

Starting the "original" version of "The Bridge."

The lead is awesome, although not as awesome as Elise in the French/English version.

    Futureman (Hulu) is oddly compelling.

The raid on James Cameron's house was hilarious

probably shouldn't have tried to force faeries to watch it with you. they're notoriously peevish and prone to petty malice.

Weather makes this a good day to rent Blade Runner 2049 for deeper viewing, pack half the corpse in ice, and tweak song lyrics.

Followed by a discussion panel at some recent indie film thing featuring both players. I've thought that the original film was depressing, but I was glad to finally hear from the players and film crew what I had always been thinking: the coach at St. Joe's was a complete douchebag who misjudged Agee, and his inability to see the player's talent is why Agee was expelled for financial reasons, and why St. Joes stayed home watching Marshall play in Champaign. Had some "guardian angel" been there for Agee, as they were for Gates, he'd have stood a much better chance of getting his ********ing state championship.
Spoiler alert: both guys graduated from university, and Mrs. Agee got on at a VA Hospital. I'm glad that I watched the panel discussion.

    I recommend it
I'd have taken the $, and made them payyyyyyyyy for their bigotry. Used the payoff to buy another house in another segregated neighborhood, wash, rinse, repeat. As soon as I ran out of hoods to move to, I'd have headed to the suburbs.

Wales v Scotland in this year's 6 Nations, then Ireland v France. Can't find a full match video of England v Italy on YouTube.

3 takeaways from France v Ireland
-Great match for having only 1 try
-France played kinda dirty, imo, which leads to:
--Nigel Owens is slippin' in his old age.

Disjointed season 2? Why I don't know. But I want to get high in a national park now. Any good ones in IL/IN/WI?

"Garden of the Gods" in far Southern Illinois (across the river from Kentucky) in Shawnee National Forest is great.
    Incredible views.

We drove down there to watch the eclipse and, despite it being a 12+ hour roundtrip, it was well worth it.

Not sure about "getting high" there, but if you have been to any of the open land in Southern Illinois, the chances of finding a mini-meth lab are extremely high.

Illinois (mostly Southern Illinois) is Number 2 in the nation in meth labs, second only to Indiana.

    https://www.huffingtonpost.com/reboot-illinois/map-shows-where-meth-prod_b_8610504.html

It is so bad down there, that there are signs in the woods all over the place that if you see a 2L soda bottle on the ground you should back away and call the authorities. Many are "mini-meth labs." The meth cookers got tired of their bathtubs blowing up, so they cook up the meth, put in 2L bottles, scatter them around during the process and then go back to collect them when the meth is ready. If one blows up, so be it.
