Na man... 2014 WC game vs CRO was much....much better. Nothing like hearing 30k Mexicans in Brazil singing 'Cielito Lindo' as we eliminated the trash-talking Croats....some big manly Croats behind us where straight up sobbing. But ... better yet i think was the 2014 WQC game vs the Netherlands....at least the first 80 min or so.
Only 1. Mexico vs. Ecuador in Seattle. I wanted to see Chich but he was too busy playing in a CL final...
How old are you all that have posted your games? Makes me wonder if everyone is significantly younger. What's with some of you fools only catching 1 to 4 matches? Maybe it's as simple as living in LA, and having them so easily accessible.
I didn't start going to games until I moved to Texas. Lived in Oregon before that, and when I was in Califas, I was too poor and busy going to school to even make it up to LA for a game. So even though I'm 48, I was in my late 30s when I saw Mexico play for the first time.
I'm 29 but I didn't travel for games until the concacaf cup. Got an awesome job with money to spend so now I can afford to travel to see games. Thinking about seeing a qualifier in Azteca.
I really wanted to go to 2014 WC Brasil, I wanted to see Brasil vs Mexico live in Ceara, Forteleza at that huge stadium but I heard that was one of if not the hardest game to get tickets to in that WC? When I saw the sea of Mexico jerseys I was really surprised of how El Tri fans did it on getting tickets? I'm glad that the score ended 0-0 especially with a Brasil squad featuring Neymar and Thiago Silva but what shocked me most is why Herrera did not start Chicharito and our bench was awesome.
Mid 90's Mexico vs. Colombia at the LA Coliseum 2009 Mexico vs. New Zealand at the Rose Bowl 2015 Mexico U-20 vs. Costa Rica U-20 Stub Hub Center Not many. The stadiums around here suck ass, that's a big reason why I don't go.
The Costa Rica game in Mexico is March 24th (http://www.worldfootball.net/schedule/wm-quali-concacaf-2015-2017-5-runde/0/). The venue hasn't been named, so it may not be at Azteca, but I'd be down for that.
Birthday is on the 27th but I get back from Tokyo on the 21st so I'll prolly be low on money. Then again who cares it's a right of passage watching a Mexico qualifier at home.
