Thoughts on Jayden Nelson? He looked like one of the best players on the field when he came on. I'd love to have him in the US pool.
He's certainly very promising and a young talent that TFC must nurture...even send on loan if possible. I found Kamron Habibullah even better on the ball and a great playmaker. I see great things for these two of their development is being carefully handled. The team showed glimpse of promise as a whole but defending is a problem...never been sold on the coach and the selection process that's overwhelmingly one sided.
Huge rumors for Publa Lucas Cavallini Puebla said they have offers from Cruz Azul, MLS and Spanish Clubs https://www.record.com.mx/futbol-fu...azul-hizo-oferta-a-puebla-por-lucas-cavallini
Yikes, what? He didn't have a good game when he came on last time. He's clearly a step ahead of his Canadian peers though. Admittedly, I didn't see him much in the other games. One guy from the other teams who really impressed me was Etienne from Haiti. He was awesome.

I admire your dedication to the thread. Like others, I look forward to a more robust rivalry between your side and ours.
Alphonso Davies helps Bayern Munich II to win promotion into D3. He played half the game as a right wing and the other half as a left wing. It used to be that a productive bench option like Jay Chapman would have been valuable to Canada. Now he's outside looking in. If the USMNT doesn't find a goal scorer, we might find ourselves having a tough time with them in the near future.
According to the CSA, Lucas Cavallini signs with Liga MX Atlas 1133124786723409920 is not a valid tweet id
Step up? Not from what I can see. Atlas just fired Rafa Marquez as sporting director, and the new owners say they're going to restore Atlas to its former glory. It's traditionally a fairly big club in Mexico but has fallen on hard times the last couple years. A top 4 club in 2014/15, to relegation-danger a season later. 17th in the Apertura, worse finish than Puebla in the Clausura (15th vs 13th). They're the 2nd fiddle to Chivas in Guadalajara. Certainly not like moving to an obvious big-name team, like Tigres, America, Chivas, etc.
I dunno. I've already exhausted my Atlas knowledge, which was already merely acquired as the result of seeing some articles written about their recent turmoil, and Omar Gonzalez's YA thread. He (OG) is at Atlas at the moment.
Cavallini watch latest rumors Soccer Canada deleted on their feed them liking Cavallini going to Atlas. According to rumors, the MLS team was Vancouver Whitecaps and Cavallini said no According to rumors, he also said no to Atlas Some claims links him to Leon & Cruz Azul Puebla is said to look for at least 6 Millions for him The La Liga club is said to be Levante and would be his preferred choice. To be continued
Closer to home, 20 years old Canadian Tristan Borges is the Canadian Premier League best scorer and arguably its best player overall with now 4 goals in 7 games. He truly does it all. He was part of the Heerenveen academy. I suspect that he will be one of the first transfers out of CPL and will undeniably be called up by Canada U23 team for the 2020 Olympics Qualifiers.
