A Division 2 Canadian League is already in the works Several factors have drawn these stakeholders into discussions of creating a Canadian Division 2. With Canadian pro soccer shifting towards domestication, concern surrounds future sanctioning to continue playing in American leagues— Simon Fudge (@SimonFudge74) December 16, 2019 Several clubs are believed to have expressed an interest in a new 🇨🇦 Div 2. They include Victoria @HighlandersFC and Vancouver @TSSRovers in BC; Calgary @FoothillsFCU23 and a group in Edmonton; plus a club in Saskatchewan led by the @SSSSeries group and a Kelowna investor group— Simon Fudge (@SimonFudge74) December 16, 2019 It is not clear what the future of clubs like WSA Winnipeg or Thunder Bay Chill is in the changing landscape, however, several groups in Eastern Canada have also expressed interest in joining a Canadian Division 2 as an alternative to the CPL (Tier 1), L1 Ontario or PLSQ (Tier 3)— Simon Fudge (@SimonFudge74) December 16, 2019 1-CPL & CSB are most likely the lead on this project as they are aiming for a 2026 launch. 2-Interesting difference is that the CHL model seems to be the preferred model to deal with the Canadian geography. ex: CHL (Canadian Hockey League) WHL (Western Hockey League) 22 teams including 5 US based OHL (Ontario Hockey League) 20 teams including 3 US based QMJHL (Quebec Major Junior Hockey League) 18 teams including 6 Atlantic Canada based Each leagues champions and the host team meets in the prestigious 4 team "Memorial Cup" tournament. The winner is Canada's Champion (which could be the team promoting to CPL) This model would reduce the travelling costs while adopting a model highly popular in Canada. 3-All USL clubs would exit the USSF pyramid as Article 73 would be enforced 4-Division 3 would most likely be provincial leagues only 5-The 3 MLS Clubs would be the last team remaining in the USSF structure until CONCACAF &/or the CSA decides otherwise

HUGE NEWS for Canadian Soccer 20 year old Liam Millar has been recalled by Liverpool effective immediately. Liam Millar has been recalled by Liverpool, and will return to Anfield with immediate effect. Thanks for everything, Liam. https://t.co/JpMsyh4fsX pic.twitter.com/d1z4L4ldxE— Kilmarnock FC (@KilmarnockFC) January 8, 2020
Probably for the U23 where L'pool is in dire need of a forward, since Liam didn't exactly light it up this time in Scotland.
I think Liverpool have a schedule "congestion" going on. Playing Millar in the FA Cup is a huge upgrade comparing to what they have currently* *By that I mean the B team they used in the League Cup that got destroyed by Aston Villa. This allows Liverpool to focus on not choking on winning the EPL title. Added benefit is that Millar will training with the first team along with Salah, Firmino and Mane while being coached by Klopp. He might get some minutes off the bench a sure win games. That's huge for the kid. Hopefully, he gets loaned to Belgium or even Championship. As for his SPL performance, yes he didn't score much but I had posted links to article about him in Scotland like how he was a top youth talent in the league. https://www.heraldscotland.com/spor...ade-scottish-premiership-breakthrough-season/ Millar attempts 8.75 dribbles per game - the fifth-highest rate of any Premiership player - and has completed more progressive runs (dribbles where the ball is carried at least 10 yards forward) than any other top-flight footballer. The on-loan winger is certainly brilliant at driving at the opposition but could probably offer a greater output in front of goal: Millar has only one goal and one assist to his name this season.
It be unfair if he were to play for the U23... Introducing your 'Player of the Month' for December: @AlphonsoDavies! 👏#MiaSanMia #FCBayern pic.twitter.com/B4EYByHZgQ— FC Bayern Munich (@FCBayernEN) January 10, 2020
