I actually enjoyed the Mexico/Brazil game, as well as NE/LA in MLS Cup.....I'd have to go with Chicago/DC from earlier this season.
The CL final was incredibly dull, although the shoot out was somewhat exciting. I agree with Robincd though, I find anything with Chilavert involved painfully hard to watch.
I dont know why you found the mexico/brazil game to be dull. yes brazil was sitting back but mexico attacked and had tons of shots on goal and should have won the game by a big margin. (an off day for Borgetti)

There was approximately 15-20 Liverpool matches this last season that could qualify for this title. The Newcastle away game on New Year's Day springs to mind, although that was more frustrating than anything else.

94 world cup final was awful as Italy had 10 men behind the ball all game. Chicago-DC game earlier this year was a sh!t sandwich MLS cup 2002 There was barely a shot on goal all game and the possession resembled an 8 year old rec game
The first 70 minutes of the CL final were very entertaining I thought. It was a game for the purists and a masterful display of defending from both teams. The most boring game I've ever seen was I think Hereford United v. Walsall in about 95 at Edgar St. Now that was a boring game.
Chicago/DC was the most boring game I've ever been to. I had friends over from England, we started adapting Manchester United Songs into DC United songs. "Oh... Hudson's phuckin magic, he wears a magic hat, And when he saw RFK, he said "I fancy that" The league closed Ft. Lauderdale and Miami (cause they're shite) So he came to DC United and now we're smokin a crackpipe."
Any given week we will run into the occasional boring, lack of imagination, defend at all costs game. But the 1990 Word Cup, any of the games, has to win here. Almost unwatchable with everybody hoping for 3 0-0 ties in the first round so they could make through to the second round. Now if you want something recent...yeah, the last champions league match.
Especially because there was a far worse match in the Champions League knockout stage: the first leg of the semifinal between Milan and Inter, which looked much like an ill-tempered version of a U-12 game...
I am going to show my age here,the 1982 World Cup in Spain a first round match between then West Germany-Austria all they needed was a tie for both teams to go on into the second round,the match ended in a 0-0 tie there wasn't one major attempt to score the entire match the crowd booed constantly all each side did was pass the ball back and forth for a while and then seem to give it away so the other side could do the same thing it was disgraceful!!!! .
