Albion entertain newly-promoted Southend tomorrow afternoon at the Hawthorns. The Shrimpers are a team we must beat at home - failure to earn all three points is inexcusable. We might play like crap but still win 4-0. Hopefully the lads will be up for this after failing to earn anything against Preston.

Robson has indicated that Hartson will likely be out, so he may start with Phillips and Ellington up front.

I've been following Albion long enough to understand that you must expect disappointment in the final minutes of close matches. So Southend's last-gasp equaliser was hardly a shock.

This was yet another match in which we should have bagged all three points early on... perhaps before half time! However, a determined opposition keeper (combined, I'm certain, with our simply inability to take chances) limited us to only the one goal from Ellington.

If we can't get all three points at home from the likes of Southend, we're not going anywhere in this division.

    ROBSON OUT.
