Who is going to make a banner? I can't make one because I am not good at arts and crafts stuff, but I will donate if needed.

It's unclear when he will be allowed to make his home debut. We will probably need one in either Salt Lake City for El Salvador or DC for the Costa Rica.

Anyone for making this thing or anyone else up for donating?

Absolutely agree, gotta have a banner for his first game. And how about a chant too?

Reeeeed, Whiiiiite, and blue. (clap, clap)
He's ouuuuuuuur man, Jermaine. (clap, clap)
So weeeeee loooooove, you. (clap, clap)

It's hard to express these things through text, but I'm telling you it sounds beautiful in my head...

I was thinking pretty much the same thing might work, especially if the sign had a bit of German in it.

i really like the third one. the second one i like, but i don't know. we will have to see how at "home" he feels, cus he might be playing for us just to play for a national side. i also like the first one, but the third is my favorite.

Being somewhat fluent in German, I prefer "Jermaine Jones, Willkommen zu Hause." It just sounds the best.

Although I also would like to see "Ja Wohl! Jermaine Jones!" Which is basically "Hell yeah!" One of my favorite phrases.

I was also thinking it might be cool if we had one that was in German, but that also made reference to his dual citizenship.

I am not sure if there are any non-derogatory nicknames Germans have for Americans, so I went with the basic one. And since Der Kaiser is a German footballing legend, I thought about:

    "Jermaine Jones: Der Kaiser-Yankee"

Not sure if the two words should be reversed in order to "Der Yankee-Kaiser"

Just for the record. The first home game Jones will most likely play will be againt Costa Rica in October.

The Screaming Eagles should be in charge of this.
