My inside sources in Alvalade are telling me that yes , ronaldo will be returning to Alvalade this season following his tax proceedings He knows he will be protected from the tax prosecutions , and would be able to rest in a less competitive league and be in full shape for World Cup 2018 which is his goal. It will likely just be only for 2017-18 , as obviously sporting won't be able to pay him what other clubs will. He will then go to MLS for large money , probably la galaxy or something.
