The chips are down. Let the game begin.

BTW thanks Mani for the coolstream link (the other thread is closed so I'll repost the link here). People who watch the game on the web, use it. It's safe and the feed very stable. Just be patient and give it a few minutes to buffer up at the very beginning. Pick the channel with the most users because with this technology the more users the more stable the feed.

Not sure how it usually works (I just started using it last night myself. Watched the NK game and came away a believer of this coolstream thing). But for this game, it's on CCTV5.

Japan is looking good so far. Iran is attacking as usual but looks a little out-numbered for some reason.

Daei basically wrestled the defender to the ground to clear the way for Hashemnian's shot LOL.

BTW the coolstream feed is obviously delayed by a few minutes.

Are you watching on the TV or the web? Your feed is faster. Coolstream is still at 44'.

What's happening? Maybe I could help?

But if I could do it, you should be able to. ;)

Finally, half time now at coolstream too. 1-0 Iran.

Japan is no match for mighty iran, I was expecting a little challenge at least. Iran is too big for ASIA. Bring on the world. Today Iran will be officially crowned the best team in Asia, the title that was stolen from us in China.

I am expecting at least 2 more goals for us in the 2nd half. Later

it takes ages to buffer up and when it does it's like one frame...10 seconds lag... another frame... so it's really annoying and I can't follow the match at all...
my conncetion is 2 Mb/s so I don't think the problem is from me....

Could well have. He should be credited for an assist for that. Not the best judo technique but worked nicely to clear the way for the scorer.

Hmmm. I'm not much of a technician but here's what I did.

Went to the site posted by Mani.

Downloaded the software. Installed it. Started it. Then quitted it and restarted the computer.

Downloaded Windows Media 10.0 from Microsoft. Installed it. Restarted the computer.

Started coolstream. Checked CCTV5 by double clicking on it. It started to buffer and a few minutes later Windows Media 10.0 popped up on its own. It continued to buffer for a few minutes more and voila, I haven't had a problem since. The feed has been very stable since last night's NK match.

BTW, happy Good Friday everyone. The AFC has finally done something right by scheduling games on a long weekend so people can actually watch them. ;)

Beautiful foul played by Nakumara from Japan, saved by Mirzapour, into a corner thats totally useless.

Iran needs to hold up 10 more minutes
    after that it's all downhill...
and what's up with all the fouls...

Japan's offense looks pretty weak and disorganized, they better do something quick.

oh well that's what happens when you believe Iran's defense is weaker than Singapore.... I only saw parts of the 1st half... but you can see Japanese are playing with a false arrogance...
