The black jerseys were cool but we played so many matches with them I got sick of them. Half my family on my dad’s side is Panamanian so this game has a special flavour for me. I hope we win it, for them.
What did Osorio said in his post-game interview? I've missed most of it. The only thing I was able to catch was his reasoning on not starting Lozano against T&T. Osorio said that he was saving him for the Honduras game. I'm not the brightest person in the world but playing Lozano against a hungry Honduras team that would do anything to get into the WC via player takedown,hacking, etc is a wrong idea to save your most in-form player for.
Considering we've already secured 1st place (not like that matters), this game is absolutely pointless.

Correct, but we walked into that game with control in our hands. Had we beat CR, we would have advanced. But we didn't. Luckily the US pulled through but they didn't owe anything to us. The only team affected by this is Panama. As much as I would like to see them qualify, I would prefer to not risk getting players injured. We all know how Honduras plays, add the fact that its do or die for them at home. The US is already pretty much through unless they somehow lose to TyT, and quite frankly, if they do lose then they don't deserve to go through.
Sure, but Mexico did lose to CR and, so, I guess, did not "deserve" to go through, yet they did go through because the US played hard in a "meaningless" game. So as a US fan I hope that even if the US does not "deserve" to go through if they were to lose to T&T that they go through anyway. And Mexico playing hard in its "meaningless" game would be a big part of that scenario.
Good news in that Chicharito and Lozano are going to miss this game. Less possibility of injuries for this pointless game.
What channel will the game be on ? .... I've checked TDN Univision, BeIN has it on Wednesday night (I thought the game is today) , Azteca and no luck ... is it bad that this is the first time I want El Tri to lose, and for Trinidad to beat the USA ?
