Impressive weekend by the Wave. I haven't watched today's game yet, but the first game was great. They outclassed the MetroStars. I felt bad for DeRosario. They went right at him and created mismatches all over. The game had a feel of when Hector and Zoran would cheat,....but those Cleveland teams had some really good players. I believe they scored one goal when another player was fixing his socks and they broke out of the back. Just a bad look for them.
I was at the wave game in Utica today. The wave are on a different level than the teams we have seen come to Utica thus far. The speed, ball skills, and ability to find open space and own it really stood out for Mil. Utica has had a great season and play very physical but they didn’t have a chance to get going today, seemed to be on their heels a lot. The Wave seem like the class of the east and we look forward here in Utica to battling Baltimore for the chance to see the wave again in the playoffs.
