I almost threw up a little when that ball went off the crossbar.

That was very nervy at the end, but 3 points is all that matters.

Can was MOM. What a goal! He has been in a great run of form.

Adam Lallana is a wonderful player. Great to have him back. He was an inch away of scoring one nearly as good as Can.

Matip is such a classy player. Mingolet remains in great form. Since when does he command his area so well?

We defended comfortably until the last minute. No excuse for giving up such a great chance though.

It wasn't pretty, but we just need to grind out 3 more results before we can address our issues in the transfer market.

3 left to play. Southampton, West Ham, Middlesbrough.

ManU have the game in hand but Arsenal and Tottenham left.

Hopefully we don't ******** this up.

Sometimes you need to win even when you're not playing well. And Liverpool did but almost undid the good work right there at the end. Top defenders do not switch off at a key moment in the game like ours did and that's why we've fallen off the pace. That's a rant for another day, though. Right now, let's savour the win and a goal worthy of winning any match.

Mega credit to Mings for the clean sheet. He's not had many of those so enjoy it!

If Can's goal wasn't a career goal - I'd give Migs MOM award - he seems to have overcome his aversion to claiming the high ball - let's hope this wasn't a one-off game, but that it is something he's been working on and he did great - even in traffic!

One down, three to go...home against Southampton next Sunday...one game at a time...

Very pleased to grab the three points but at the same time I am a bit worried that we may have now lost Coutinho ....perhaps for the rest of the season .......hopefully not.

Inching ever closer to that important top four finish though.

Nah, that's a charlie horse if I ever saw one... sore, but won't restrict him that long. He might not start next game, but he'll be able to play in the last three games.

If the rest of the games are like this I'm glad I updated my last will and testament. The old ticker won't take this abuse. Wonder if I'll see a Liverpool player score a goal like that again. And Migs I'm sorry I've called you all those bad names. BIG commanding grabs in the end.
    Walk on...

    So that's 3 points

I thought Can and Lucas played very well even leaving out the wonder goal they created.

Mignolet had a very strong outing. Commanded his box exceptionally well.

Glad Lallana is back. Hope Phil is ready Sunday too.

The stunned silence in the ground pretty much summed up Can's goal!

My brain took a few seconds to register what it had seen when Can scored. Sensational. I showed my wife the highlight of it and she was in awe despite not being a fan.
