Hey friends, could we move this to 04/29 instead? (My apologies to @2nd Mouse -- I hope you can still make it!) Looks like my husband is having a third ACL surgery and a meniscus surgery, which means I need to readjust my calendar a bit. My husband is basically the Egyptian Chris Schuler--tall, good looking, and made of glass.
Yes! That's better for me (I think. Or maybe not. Who knows at this time?). Anyway, I think it's better. Who are we going to lose to this time? How did your husband pick up the injury?
His first ACL surgery in Egypt (from 2011) ultimately failed. I think they tried to rehabilitate him too quickly, from what I've pieced together, so it never healed properly. Not sure how/when the meniscus was torn but he's been in pain and trying to figure out the problem for months. He does private soccer coaching in addition to a U13 (I think?) club so he's on his feet a lot. I'll contact Legends tomorrow and see if we can change the date.
Thanks, everyone. We're confirmed at Legends for 04/29. I'll make a new thread for it with info in the title when the event gets closer.
There's a special event here is Vegas that I have to be at on Saturday. I was looking forward to the watch party. I hope that you will plan another one this season.
My daughter has an all day dance competition so I'll be watching that and playing dad to my son all day. Count me out
Sadly I won't be able to attend. Have a school event with wife and daughter. I'm very disappointed. Not that I have/get to spend time with my daughter and wife but the watch party last year was excellent. Hope I can attend the next one.
C'mon, chickenshit. It's a family friendly venue, same as last year. Your kid's going to be exposed to the depths of human depravity* sooner or later -- might as well be sooner. (*I'm in)
Ok McCree. D.Va/Lucio for life. I really should play more. As far as being on topic, my weekend is already pretty busy so I won't be making it. One of these years I'll make it to one.
I used to be good with Reinhardt, then I played more D.Va and Zarya and managed to become terrible with him. *boop*
I'll be a brand new father sometime between now and the game, so I'm guessing I won't make this one either.
I wish I could make it. It's always interesting to connect a real human to an online persona and I would like to meet you guys IRL. Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it. My day will be filled with 3 kids' games spaced throughout the day and played in Park City, Sandy, and West Jordan. Good think we like their club
