    Isn't this old news that Arena would sign on for another four years? They had to let his first contract come near an end before having the next one ready.

    Nothing too surprising, although it will be nice when there is an official announcement.

    The more interesting thing from the article for me was the mention that Dave Sarachan might not return. Adds fuel to the idea that he's potentially ready to jump into an MLS head coaching spot.

    I wonder when was the last time the same coach has taken the same team to 2 consecutive world cups? Obviously, you need to qualify first (not a given, yet highly probable), but assuming the US does qualify, that's got be a pretty rare thing.
